What's the difference between SkillXP and credits?

Credits build paths. SkillXP is what you earn on them.

Credits open a path. SkillXP proves you walked it.

Credits are what a path costs to build: 70 credits for 3 days, 150 for 7, 300 for 14. They come with your plan or a top up.

SkillXP is the reward for doing the work: a day closed with proof, a daily quest, a won round, an Arcade quest. You spend it in The Library on guides, templates and starter kits.

Swapping SkillXP for credits

In the Shop, SkillXP turns into credits: 1,000 SkillXP for 70 credits, 2,000 for 150. Enough SkillXP can pay for your next path. Credits never turn back into SkillXP.

Both are checked on the server

Credits

Added by the payment itself, never by a page you land on. A path that fails to build is refunded.

SkillXP

Paid once per quest, on a proof or a score the server saw. A refresh never pays twice.

People also ask

Can I pay for a path with SkillXP?

Not directly. Swap SkillXP for credits in the Shop first, then use the credits to build the path.

Can I turn credits into SkillXP?

No. Credits only build paths and events. SkillXP comes from doing the work, or from a SkillXP pack.

Which one do I get when I finish a day?

SkillXP. Proofs, daily quests, won rounds and Arcade quests pay SkillXP. Credits come from your plan or a top up.
