Learn Premiere Pro from YouTube in 7 days
Premiere Pro is a professional editor, and its first hour feels like a wall of panels. This week shows the parts that matter for longer videos, such as interviews, tutorials and podcasts. You learn the basic editing workflow, pick up time-saving habits, speed up a heavy timeline with proxies, reuse work with nested sequences, grade a clip, and finish by syncing and cutting footage from more than one camera. Each day, you edit a real clip and keep the project.
Day 1 free. No credit card.
What you’ll have at the end
- A timeline that plays smoothly because you set up proxies.
- A graded clip with a before and an after.
- A multi-camera edit exported as a finished video.

FAQ
Do I need my own footage?
Yes, it helps a lot. Your own clips from a phone or a camera are enough, and a short interview or a talking-head recording works well for the later days.
Which version of Premiere should I use?
Any recent version of Adobe Premiere Pro. Menus move a little between versions, so if a button is not where the video shows it, search for the feature name in the app.
Is this for short vertical videos?
The path leans toward longer horizontal videos. If you edit short videos on a phone, the CapCut path is a better match.
What do I submit as proof each day?
A short export or a screenshot from your project, such as a graded still, a proxy setting or a synced sequence.
Is the first week enough to edit professionally?
It gives you the workflow and a few habits that save time. Professional work takes practice, but a finished multi-camera edit in seven days is a solid start.
