Path vs course
Purchase vs practice. Modules vs days.
Course = checkout · Path = Day 1
A course is a product. Lifetime access, 48 lectures, a progress bar in someone else’s app. A path is a week you run. 3, 7 or 14 days. YouTube videos that still match the UI. A file at the end.
You can own twelve courses and have no practice. You cannot finish a path without an export. That is the split.
The course is the map. The path is the walk you take this week.
Both can be useful
Course
Theory, sequence, a teacher who recorded once. Good if you show up tonight anyway.
Path
One outcome, current videos, proof. Good when the library is at 12% and Friday is empty.
Side by side
| Course | Path | |
|---|---|---|
| Start | Checkout | Name the file |
| Unit | Lecture / module | Day |
| Current | Often not | YouTube this year |
| Done | All lectures | File on disk |
| SkillxTube length | 3 / 7 / 14 only |
How to use a course inside a path
Steal one lecture. Put it on Day 1. Leave the other 47. If the lecture cannot produce tonight’s file, it is still a library item.
People also ask
Is SkillxTube a course platform?
No. It orders public YouTube videos into days and asks for proof. It does not sell a recorded curriculum.
Should I finish the course first?
No. The client needed the file last Monday. Practice first.
What about certificates?
A PDF is attendance. See certificate vs file.
