No file. No tomorrow.
Day n stays closed until the drop
Proof unlocks the next day. That is the entire lock. Watch Day 1 to the end and Day 2 is still grey. Deposit the file and Day 2 opens. Not the rest of the path. One day.
Teams use the same rule. The report cares about last proof, not last play.
Tomorrow is a privilege of the file.

Not as a shortcut for watching. The teammate still owes a file. Coaching is about the last proof, not a skip.
What if I deposited the wrong file?
Replace it. The lock cares that an object exists for that day. The coach cares if it matches the challenge.
Does publish unlock faster?
No. Export is enough. Publish is extra.
